Compliance readiness, on device

LedgerAI helps South African firms see how audit-ready they are. It tracks your POPIA and FSCA record-keeping obligations, lets you work controls to move your readiness score, and keeps a tamper-evident audit trail — entirely on your device. Here's how to get the most from it.

Getting started

Open the app and you land on the readiness dashboard, which works immediately with no sign-in. It shows your overall readiness score, a bar for each framework, and the audit-chain integrity badge. There is nothing to set up before you can start.

Working a control

Open Regulations to see the POPIA conditions and FSCA AI-governance controls. As you work a control and mark it done, your readiness score moves to reflect it. Each action is recorded to the audit trail so you can see what changed and when.

The audit trail

The audit trail is a record that cannot be quietly edited. Each event carries a sequence number, a timestamp and a hash that links it to the previous one, and a verified-chain badge tells you the record is intact. It is held on your device, for you.

Deadlines and accessibility

Deadlines are sorted by what matters next, with urgency and escalation bands so nothing slips. A full accessibility section reads clearly your way — larger text, bold text, reduce motion and higher contrast — and re-renders the app the instant you change it.

Common questions

Do I need an account? No. LedgerAI has no account and no login, and everything stays on your device.

Is my data private? Yes. The Android build declares no permissions at all — no internet, location or camera — so nothing can be transmitted off the device. See our Privacy Policy.

Is there an AI assistant? Not in this Android build. The AI Copilot, cloud team sync and signed audit-pack export are not part of this version. The readiness tracking and audit trail are fully working.

Does LedgerAI make me compliant? No. It is a tool that helps you organise and evidence your POPIA and FSCA record-keeping. It is not a guarantee of compliance, and you should rely on your own professional advisers for regulatory decisions.
