DebitWatch
A read-only watchdog for your South African bank debit orders.
What it does
DebitWatch finds the money quietly leaving your account. Import a statement export from any major South African bank and its on-device engine identifies every recurring debit order, classifies each against a real SA merchant database, and flags the ones that look suspicious, forgotten or unauthorised. It forecasts the next 90 days of cash leaving your account and, when something is wrong, drafts a SARB-compliant dispute letter in one tap. By design it is read-only — it has no bank connection, cannot move money and cannot make payments.
Key features
Import a statement
Accepts CSV statement exports from Standard Bank, FNB, Capitec, Nedbank, Absa and TymeBank. No third-party login, no screen scraping.
Finds every recurring debit
An on-device engine detects recurring charges by amount, merchant and frequency, and classifies them against a real South African merchant database.
Flags the suspicious ones
Surfaces debits that look forgotten, duplicated or unauthorised, so the leaks are obvious instead of buried in a statement.
90-day cash forecast
Projects the next quarter of recurring debits leaving your account, with ZAR formatting throughout.
One-tap dispute letter
Generates a SARB-compliant dispute letter in South African banking format, pre-addressed and pre-structured for the specific debit order.
Privacy
Read-only and on-device. No bank login, no screen scraping, no connection that can move money. Your statements never leave your phone.
