Apps/Night Sky Field Notes

Latitude

Turn the real sky above you into a typeset field note you can keep and share.

Coming soon — in development

What it does

Latitude reads the real night sky for your exact location and time and turns it into a typeset field note — what's overhead, the moon phase, the planets and constellations on show — rendered as a keepsake you can save or share as a card. The astronomy is computed natively on-device with no third-party dependencies; there is no account and nothing to track.

Key features

The real sky, for your spot

Computes what is actually overhead at your location and time — not a generic star map. Native astronomy engine, fully on-device.

A typeset field note

What's up tonight — moon phase, planets, constellations — laid out as a beautifully typeset note rather than a cluttered dashboard.

Share cards

Turn any night's note into a clean share card to keep or send. The keepsake is the point.

Free forever, no account

No sign-up, no subscription, no tracking. Just the sky above you, anytime you look up.

Privacy

Runs on-device. No account, no tracking. Your location is used only to compute the sky and never leaves your phone.
